You will be informed about all the course details after you have qualified.
The tentative venue for the training course is at CIT building, Makerere University, Kampala. We will start with the course as soon as we have 20 selected candidates who have all fulfilled their course fees.

The EasySites course has a duration of 2 weeks. In these 2 weeks (10 working days) you will receive a minimum of 4 hrs of training per day. After the morning sessions, you will be given the opportunity for self study and practicing your newly learned skills.

After you have completed the first course and decided to become a licensee, there will be one or two additional courses, which will be tailored to meet demand of licensees. These short courses will be for the duration of a week ( 5 working days) each.

Unfortunately not. The course is specifically aimed towards training you as an EasySites Licensee. Although the course will teach you some basic principles of web design, image editing and business management, you will mainly be trained in using the online EasySites Builder. This online-platform is specially designed by Mountbatten and will not be available to persons who are not a licensee.

The EasySites course teaches you how to design websites using the EasySites Site builder. This sitebuilder is made available to you through an online-platform to which you need to log-in in order to be able to use it. If you decide not to become a licensee, you will not be given log-in access to the platform. This means you cannot longer use the EasySites Builder to design websites for clients.

The knowledge you gain during the course is specifically geared to train you as a licensee. If you think you do not want t become a licensee, we advise you not to participate in this training but go for a more general web design course.

If you decide to follow the training, but don't qualify after doing the final exam ( and possibly the re-exam) you will not be able to operate as an EasySites Licensee. However, we will offer you the opportunity to build your own personal website using the site builder and have this website hosted on the internet free for a year.

We have recruited an excellent trainer and have designed the EasySites course in such a way that you should be able to pass the test, provided that you have attended all classes and are motivated to start your own business as a licensee.

However, in the event that you do fail the final-exam, you will be given a second opportunity and do a re-exam. You are required to pay an extra re-exam fee of 50.000 Shilling. If you fail a second time, there will be no reimbursement of the course fee possible.

You will be able to publish the website that you have developed during the course on the internet for free, as Mountbatten will offer you a free hosting package for a year.
